Doctor Pet Quickly, Poor Baby Monkey Look So Itchy On His Private

“Doctor! Doctor Pet Quickly! HELP!” cried a worried zookeeper from the nearby sanctuary. He held a tiny, squirming bundle of brown fur in his arms. The baby monkey—none other than PavPav—was twitching and wriggling like he had fire ants in his pants.

Doctor Pet Quickly, a kind-eyed woman in a white coat, rushed forward. “What’s wrong with the little one?”

“He’s been scratching non-stop! On his private parts, poor thing. Itchy! Very itchy!” the zookeeper said, eyes wide with concern. “He’s been like this all morning. We thought it was just a flea or two… but it’s gotten worse.”

The baby monkey whimpered softly, hugging himself and kicking his tiny feet. His face was twisted in discomfort, and every few seconds he gave another desperate scratch between his legs.

“Alright, let’s see what’s going on, little PavPav,” said Doctor Pet Quickly gently. She motioned for the zookeeper to place him on the examination table, which was lined with a soft towel.

PavPav immediately rolled to his side and gave another quick, frantic scratch. His fur was matted around the area, and the skin underneath looked red and irritated.

“Poor baby,” the doctor murmured. “It must be driving him mad.”

She reached for her gloves and a small magnifying lens.

“Let’s take a careful look. You’re in good hands now, PavPav.”

The monkey blinked up at her, still scratching, but slightly calmer under her soft voice.

After a few minutes of gentle examination, Doctor Pet Quickly made a soft “ah-ha” sound.

“Well, here’s our trouble,” she said. “He’s got a nasty rash down there. Likely caused by contact dermatitis—possibly from rolling in something irritating. There’s also a few tiny bite marks—probably insect-related. But no sign of mites or mange, thankfully.”

“Is it serious?” the zookeeper asked.

“It’s uncomfortable, but treatable,” she replied. “He needs soothing cream, anti-itch medication, and lots of rest. And no more scratching!”

She looked down at PavPav, who had his hand halfway to his groin again.

“I mean it, little one.”

PavPav froze.

Doctor Pet Quickly prepared a gentle herbal cream made from calendula, aloe vera, and a touch of a veterinary-safe antiseptic. She spoke calmly as she applied it, patting PavPav’s head when he twitched.

“It’s going to feel cold, but it’ll help. Just hold still, baby monkey.”

PavPav squealed lightly when the cool cream touched his skin—but then let out a long, relieved sigh. He stopped wriggling. His hands finally rested at his sides. His eyes blinked slowly, then closed.

“See?” the doctor smiled. “Much better.”

“Is there anything we can do to keep him from scratching again?” asked the zookeeper.

Doctor Pet Quickly nodded. “We’ll wrap a soft cloth diaper around him for a few days to prevent him from reopening the rash. And we’ll give him a mild antihistamine. No jungle gym, no dirt, and definitely no rolling in strange bushes until he heals.”

She scribbled notes on a form and handed it over. “Here’s the treatment plan. I’ll prepare some herbal tea for his digestion and calming, too. Stress can make itching worse.”

The zookeeper chuckled with relief. “Thank you so much, Doctor. I was afraid it was something more serious.”

“It’s always better to check. When animals are uncomfortable, they don’t always know how to help themselves.”

PavPav was now lying back, belly-up, arms stretched wide, wearing a tiny bandage diaper and a serene expression. He looked like a monkey on vacation.

As the doctor finished up, she gave him a small plush banana toy to cuddle—something soft and safe to hold while he healed.

“He’s going to be fine,” she said warmly. “Just give it time. Keep him clean, give the meds on schedule, and no more mystery plants.”

PavPav gave a little happy chirp in response.

Three Days Later

PavPav returned for a check-up, sitting upright in a little stroller, banana plush in his arms. He wasn’t scratching anymore, and his skin was nearly healed.

Doctor Pet Quickly examined him again and smiled.

“Well, well. You look much better! No more itchy monkey, huh?”

PavPav clapped his hands and gave a cheerful squeak.

“Can he go back to swinging and playing?” the zookeeper asked.

“In a few more days. Let’s make sure he’s fully healed first,” Doctor Pet Quickly replied. “And keep using the cream twice daily until then.”

PavPav looked up at the doctor, eyes full of trust and affection. He gently patted her glove with his tiny hand, as if to say, thank you.

“You’re very welcome, little one,” she said softly.

And from that day on, PavPav avoided mysterious jungle plants, listened to Doctor Pet Quickly’s advice, and never again took his clean, itch-free bottom for granted.

And Doctor Pet Quickly? She remained the hero of itchy monkeys, grumpy hedgehogs, nervous parrots, and every other wild creature who needed care.

Because when nature gets uncomfortable, it’s good to have someone who knows exactly what to do.
